Is AttenIP available on iOS or as a web app?

Today, the AttenIP employee app is Android only. Admins, HR, and managers can also use the web dashboard from a browser — it's the mobile employee app that's Android-specific right now.

What happens to our employees' location data?

GPS and WiFi network details are captured only at check-in and check-out, to verify presence at an approved office location. AttenIP doesn't sell this data or use it for advertising — see the Privacy Policy for the full details.

We currently track attendance on paper or in Excel — how hard is it to switch?

Accepted Answer

Register your company, add your office locations and allowed WiFi networks, then bulk-import your employee roster from a CSV instead of entering people one at a time. Your team downloads the app and starts checking in the same day.

How long does setup actually take?

Accepted Answer

There's no hardware to buy or install. An admin account is ready immediately after signup, on a 30-day free trial — most of the setup time is just adding office locations, WiFi networks, and shift timings once.

Do employees need to keep location services on all the time?

Accepted Answer

No. Location and WiFi details are only checked at the moment of check-in or check-out, using the same permission prompt any location-aware app uses — not continuous background tracking.
