Terms of Service

AttenIP is an attendance management service for companies with physical offices, offering GPS and WiFi geofenced check-in/check-out, leave management, shift scheduling, payroll processing, and related administrative reporting.

AttenIP's payroll feature computes payroll figures — including statutory PF/ESI/TDS deductions and overtime pay, where configured — and generates payslips from attendance and salary data a company administrator enters. AttenIP does not itself disburse salary payments; the company remains responsible for actually paying its employees and for the accuracy of the salary data it enters.

You must be an authorized representative of the company you register on AttenIP. By registering, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company to these terms and to add employee accounts under it.

The company administrator is responsible for the accuracy of employee data entered into the system, for managing who has admin/HR/manager access, and for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials issued to that company's users.

As an alternative to an AttenIP password, a user may sign in using an existing Google or Microsoft account. Doing so does not change any obligation under these terms, and the user remains responsible for the security of that third-party account.

A company administrator may optionally connect AttenIP to Slack or Microsoft Teams to receive product notifications inside that workspace. Connecting an integration is entirely at the administrator's discretion and can be disconnected at any time from Settings.

Use of Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google, or Microsoft sign-in through AttenIP is also subject to that third party's own terms of service. AttenIP is not responsible for the availability, conduct, or policies of these third-party services.

New company registrations receive a 30-day free trial with full feature access. The trial does not automatically convert to a paid subscription or charge any payment method — a company only moves to a paid plan after an administrator completes a successful payment through Razorpay.

At the end of the trial, continued access to certain features may require selecting a paid plan.

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, as selected at checkout, and processed through Razorpay. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

You agree not to use AttenIP to violate any applicable law, or to misuse the service in ways that could harm AttenIP, other customers, or their employees.

You agree not to attempt to circumvent, spoof, or falsify the location or WiFi network data used for attendance verification — including through GPS spoofing tools, mock location apps, or broadcasting a fake network to impersonate an approved office network. AttenIP's geofencing features exist specifically to prevent this kind of misuse, and accounts found doing so may be flagged or suspended at the company administrator's discretion.

As between AttenIP and a customer company, the company owns the employee, attendance, and business data it enters into the service. AttenIP acts as a data processor on the company's behalf and does not claim ownership of that data.

A company administrator may stop using the service and request account closure at any time by contacting support. AttenIP may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including the acceptable use provisions above.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AttenIP's liability for any claim arising from use of the service will be limited to the amount paid by the company in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, by notifying company administrators directly.
